Only one submission per writer.
Submissions are open June 15 – September 1, 2024.
Notifications will be sent on a rolling basis.
Submit up to 5 poems. You can send as individual files or one file.
Submit up to 2 pieces (approx. 1500 words or less). You can submit as one file or 2 separate files.
We are accepting simultaneous submissions. Please notify us immediately if your piece is selected somewhere else. And congratulations if it is! Yay you!
We are not accepting previously published pieces. This does not include personal social media posts or blogs.
Please submit as a .doc, .docx or .pdf
We are vehemently against the use of AI in creating the written word. If we suspect AI has been used, we will immediately delete your submission and remove you from any future submissions.
There is a $5 reading fee to suppot the print publication. If this presents a financial burden, please email anthologysubs@gnashingteethpublishing.com to the attention of L
Selected submissions will receive 1 (one) copy of the anthology.
Meet the Editor
L Scully (they/them) is a living writer and double Capricorn currently based in the ether. Their debut full-length work, FUCK ME: A Memoir, was released Spring 2023 by GTP, and their poetry collection, self-romancing, is forthcoming from DOPAMINE in 2025. They are the director of the queer reading series [Working Title] and co-founder of Stone of Madness Press. L has been invited to residencies nationally and internationally, most recently featured as a nominee on the Independent Press Awards 40 Under 40 in Publishing list. Their work can be found widely in print and online.
