a shadow organization
aided by bumbling
members of the secret service,
an entire envoy
of minus men
adding up to
less than zero,
resulting in the
world’s smallest
gunshot wound.
this bizarro fantasy world
segues into absurd reality
bludgeoned into the brains
of the skeptical majority
by an audience-starved media
promoting their
apocalyptic agenda.

and these Trump supporters
you will know them
these White Christian Nationalists
by their shiny, zealot eyes
and total lack of character.
egregious beards
shielding nonexistent chins
while two inches
of flaccid orange cock
dangles from their
trembling lips.

you will know them
these avatars of intellectual isolationism
by the bandages
as pure white as Christ’s love
affixed to the right ear
of the righteous faithful,
this badge of loyalty,
of unquestioning fealty
to this divinely ordained
and unfairly felonized
American savior,
protector of the most
convenient virtues
and dictator of the
Biblical status quo.

you will know them
these ushers of orange Armageddon
by the colors of the flag
draped across their correct skin,
mistaking demagoguery
for patriotism,
molding their white power philosophy
into a right-wing theocracy
where such things as
compassion and free thought,
intellectual curiosity
and charity
become the identity
of an outlaw citizenry,
where the likes of
Kid Rock and Hulk Hogan
become cultural emissaries
while the books we hold dear
are burned in a blaze
so brilliant
Elon Musk could warm
his hands by its flame
from orbit.

that will be
Donald Trump’s legacy.
monsters appeased,
the mediocre elevated,
mewling mouths
vomiting countless lies,
and Trump acting as nothing more
than a vehicle
delivering us where
the absolute worst people
desire for us to go.
Judgement Day
where an endless phalanx
of the imperfect
will be paraded before
an empty throne.
