Pick a star, any star
& I’ll reach straight up and grab it for you
put it right inside your hot little hand
we had some times and we had some scares
now you act like you don’t care
I just can’t understand
You’re my Paris Point Zero
you go dark on me and I go pale
You’re my Kilometro Cero
you go dark on me and I go pale
I saw a cardinal and I thought of you
then I saw two and I thought of us
butterfly kisses
eskimo kisses
I’m biting my bottom lip in the mire
being in love is being free
We’ve been running out of time
for quite a while now
you carved our initials into the tree bark
of my childhood park
just like they used to
in those old time movies
You’re my Paris Point Zero
you go dark and I go beyond the pale
You’re my Kilometro Cero
you go dark and I go far beyond the pale
