Gnashing Teeth Publishing is accepting submissions for our newest anthology, SHE: Seen. Heard. Engaged. Send us words and art. We are looking for poetry, flash fiction, creative non-fiction, short essays, and artwork from girls aged 8-18, describing the experience of being a girl in America, at this time in history. There is a lot going on around the world at this time. The feelings and attitudes of youth are often not considered; but young women have strong opinions about the future, their values, and the causes they take up and fight. What is your perspective, as a young person? What do you see? How do you feel about it? What is going on inside your mind and heart? Nothing is off limits and there is no judgment. Put it all on the page. We want to hear difficult secrets, radical ideas, and unbridled joy. Please read the guidelines. Use our Contact Form for any questions, but not for submissions.
