Anybody Home rustles with dynamism and unrest, shimmering with a musicality and focus that astonishes the senses.  With a wildly fun voice, this collection projects the reader into new worlds of prose with all the vigor that language can offer.  These stories follow a lonely sailor with a radio fused to his heart, a worm from the soil through a chicken and back to earth, a gardener in an aphid slaughter, and characters like Peach, CJ, The Stranger, Little Meek Mouth, and The Man—all who navigate wonderous and slightly ominous terrains through wrenching transformations.
