| words that get in your teeth

Steiner Street by Christian Garduno

She knows all the places to go
ske knows how to walk in late
& leave 10 minutes before they miss you
I can see us happening
in another Universe
maybe if this one doesn’t work out

She wears your Bob Marley shirt to sleep at night
two sizes too big
it helps her sleep at night
That Chesire cat smile of yours when you look the other way
you ash your cigarette
and the world crashes up against your hip
