Gnashing Teeth Publishing is excited to unveil the cover art for the upcoming anthology “Love Notes You’ll Never Read.” this anthology contains poetry which is written for someone who has passed, a person in the poet’s past, or someone who was met and never seen again. grief, loss, and past love make this a very special anthology.
the cover art was styled after Victorian era books. the Victorians were masters of the grief and love. unlike their Romantic predecessors, they explored the fragile nature of love. like the Victorians, the poets inside this anthology approach their subject with a keen eye towards rich imagery, religious belief without proselytizing, and societal issues. wrapped within each piece is a narrative of love and powerful loss.
